To bring Baltimore Jewish girls together to do something good in honor of their B'not Mitzvah
Our Vision
The Bat Mitzvah Girls' Giving Circle strives for a community in which each girl recognizes the power that she has within herself and appreciates that, when girls come together and combine their strengths, amazing things can happen.
Our Values
The Bat Mitzvah Girls' Giving Circle will . . .
give Baltimore Jewish girls in the 2021 graduation year a way to give back to the community that has supported them as they become a Bat Mitzvah;
teach girls the value of giving (philanthropy) and the power of giving together;
show girls the impact that they can have in their community when they come together to do something good;
raise awareness about an issue being faced by girls in our community;
provide the opportunity to think outside the pretty box and focus on issues of substance;
honor the Jewish traditions of tzedakah (giving) and tikkun olam (repairing the world).
